Hey, Matteo and Lorenzo here! Some people might remember made Psycho Taxi Rewind for Brackeys Jam 2020. Well, long story short, we actually fully fleshed it out into its own thing and thus was born Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom. We wanted to share the final demo version of it with the itch community too, since this is where it all started, so here it is!

I loved this demo (it got me literally squeaking on some runs SDJKSDJ), it's very polished and it worked fine with controller and keyboard. Nice work on this one (。・ω・。)

What is your game about
Such a fresh and funky game. As a crazy taxi fan did a video as tribute. Are you planning to expand further with extra levels, characters, bonuses etc? Or release the source?

We are planning on developing a full version of the game, with better graphics, surreal situations, gameplay innovations, and so on. Basically a new game which winks at the old crazy taxi, but is not a clone of it :)

No timeline yet. Both I and my friend who worked on it are stabilizing our economical situations while throwing ideas in the mix.

I agree with Asim that it takes too long to restart, but honestly so fun! My current highscore is 6922 :)
A bug? The passengers didn't recognize that I was in the circle all the time, some times I would run out of time before they came and rewound the taxi, and that enabled me to play again. I don't know if that's what you had in mind, but to me is seems kind of strange.

I can see why your game is rated at the top of fun, only had 1 issue its a lil hard and takes too long to start again.
I really enjoyed this game! I love the art style, the audio, the playstyle; it's perfect! I love how fun the controls are. I wasn't able to get the car stuck anywhere, despite my best efforts!
I don't think it would take too much to make this into a fully fledged game. Maybe a points shop to buy customisations for your car? Unlock new areas? A few miscellaneous gamemodes?
My only complaint was that there wasn't a way to view my high scores.
